Desmond Tutu back in hospital

CAPE TOWN -

The daughter of Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu says he has been re-admitted to hospital.

Reverend Mpho Tutu updated the media on her father's condition.

She says the arch was re-admitted last night on the advice of his doctors.

He's being treated for an inflammation and will be under observation for the next few days.

Tutu has been in and out of hospital over the past few weeks.

On the previous two occasions he was treated for a persistent infection.

Mpho says her father's current treatment has nothing to do with the prostrate cancer he's been battling for the past several years.
