AG gives WC govt departments clean audit

CAPE TOWN - The Western Cape Government says its performance in financial and general management is on the up after most of its departments were given clean audits by the Auditor-General.
The Provincial Health Department is the only department which fell short of a clean audit but still received an unqualified audit.
Finance MEC Ivan Meyer says there's been a noticeable improvement.
"You can just look at the green from 2011, 12, 13, 14 and 2015, how the green became bigger. What this tells you is the journey of clean government has significantly improved over time."
