HARARE - Zimbabwe's first lady Grace Mugabe's new range of ice-cream and chocolate has finally been launched and state TV has covered it live.
The Zimbabwean first lady owns a state-of-the-art dairy factory and markets her products under her Alpha Omega brand.
Ministers and other government officials were shown tucking into the new range of ice creams at the launch.

These products are proving popular in Zimbabwe's shops, partly because they're cheaper than most competitors.
Agriculture minister Joseph Made, who was the guest of honour, said after just three years Alpha Omega has already taken 30 percent of the local market.
President Robert Mugabe and the first lady did not appear to be at the function which was given live coverage on state Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC) TV.
