The 17-year-old will be appearing in-camera in connection with the shooting.
CAPE TOWN - A Mitchells Plain teen will be appearing in court on Wednesday for allegedly shooting and wounding two people.
The 17-year-old will be appearing in-camera in the local magistrates court.
The investigating officer has told Eyewitness News the accused has been in a place of safety since his first court appearance last month.
He will be appearing during the course of Wednesday on charges of attempted murder.
In July he allegedly shot at a group of people standing in front of a shop in Rocklands.
Two people among them were wounded, one of them, an 11-year-old girl.
The teen was arrested soon after the incident.
He was found in possession of a firearm and ammunition.
Police suspect the incident could be gang-related.
