JOHANNESBURG - US Traffic officials at an intersection in Cobb County dressed up as construction workers on Wednesday, in an act to clamp down on motorists who text on their mobile phones while driving.

According to county law, it is illegal to text and drive.

Police told WSB-TV Atlanta that they have struggled to hold a strong case against motorists in the past, and dressing as construction workers allows them to get a closer view of what they are doing.
