Noah gets ready for his 'Daily Show' hosting debut

The SA comedian has started shooting promos for the show to be aired in September.

JOHANNESBURG - Comedian Trevor Noah has started preparations for his first appearance as host of _ The Daily Show_ in September.

The comic posted a selfie on Instagram and is shooting promotional videos for the show.

Noah has made great strides ahead of his debut as host of The Daily Show, with an appearance on Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show and a feature in the US GQ magazine.

Back home, he has been recognised as MTV Base Africa's personality of the year.

With the hashtags 'I am smiling on the inside' and 'it's not work if it's fun' in his latest Instagram post, Noah has made it clear that being funny does not come easy.

Noah's first show as The Daily Show host will air on 28 September.
