Investigations could link a suspected Cape Town serial killer to more dead bodies.
CAPE TOWN - It's understood investigations could link a suspected Cape Town serial killer to more dead bodies discovered near the Century City train station.
At his sixth court appearance today, the case against 32-year-old Kahangayi Sedumedi has been postponed to 18 September.
He's charged with the murder of three women whose bodies were discovered on an open field near Acre Road.
Sedumedi was arrested in January and was initially charged with one murder.
Following further investigation prosecutors added charges for two more murders.
All three counts relate to the discovery of women's bodies in a field along Acre Road near the Century City train station last year.
Between February and December last year, the bodies of six women were discovered in the same area.
They were all naked, with their hands tied behind their backs.
The suspect also faces two counts of rape.
