Berea flat evictions lead to road closures in JHB
Abel Road and Tudhope Avenue are closed as its alleged the tenants are occupying the buildings illegally.
JOHANNESBURG - Johannesburg Metro Police Department (JMPD) says Abel Road and Tudhope Avenue in Berea have been closed off to traffic due to evictions taking place.
It's understood the tenants living in flats in the area are occupying the buildings illegally.
Motorists are being urged to use alternative routes as the roads will remain closed until tomorrow evening.
