CAPE TOWN - After months of keeping a low profile, British businessman Shrien Dewani has returned to the continent.

According to a UK publication, Dewani was spotted in Nairobi recently by his late wife's relatives.

He was acquitted last year of killing his bride, Anni, during their honeymoon in Cape Town in 2010.

One of Anni's relatives reportedly spotted the British businessman dining at a restaurant in Nairobi earlier this month.

Dewani was extradited to South Africa last year to face charges.

He was accused of hiring hit men to kill his wife during their honeymoon nearly five years ago.

But the charges were dismissed by the Western Cape High Court late last year because prosecutors failed to build a strong case against him.

He was allowed to leave the country without having to present his case to the court.

Since his return to the UK, the Bristol businessman has seemingly managed to keep a low profile until now.
