Ex-Aurora miners not yet paid out
A court bid ruled that directors are liable for the liquidation of Aurora.
JOHANNESBURG - Miners who used to work for Aurora Empowerment Systems have said they still haven't received payment despite a court ruling that directors are liable for the liquidation of the company.
Khulubuse Zuma, who is the president's nephew, was not found guilty of any fraudulent activity.
Zondwa Mandela and three other directors were however found liable in terms of the company liquidating, and thousands of people losing their jobs.
Miner Edwin Mohayana said they don't know when they'll be paid out.
"Those people have not told us anything. They said they would pay each employee R28,000."
