CAPE TOWN - Two men who pleaded guilty to the rape of a woman in the Tsitsikamma area will be sentenced tomorrow.

The pair appeared in the Storms River Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

The victim, who works at an international school in Gauteng, was approached by the men while jogging in the Tsitsikamma National Park.

The police's Gerda Swart said, "Juame Thorne (26) was found guilty on two counts of rape and Luwayne De Wee (25) was found guilty on a charge of rape. The two will be sentenced this coming Friday in the Storms River Magistrates Court."

Last week, South African National Parks (SANParks) bolstered its safety and security measures at the Tsitsikamma National Park.

Park officials said while the incident didn't happen in the nature reserve, they still intend stepping up security in the area.
