JOHANNESBURG - A couple accused of killing a Johannesburg father and leaving his body in a car boot at Montecasino will hear their fate on Friday.

JP Malan and former stripper Maruschka Robinson stand accused of murdering Dustan Blom, whose body was found two years ago.

During the trial the two accused turned against each other.

Judge Delize Smith spent much of the morning going over the evidence heard during the trial.

So far she has accepted the evidence of all state witnesses she's mentioned.

She's referred to case law to explain the weight of accomplice evidence and how circumstantial evidence must be treated by the courts.

Talking about the versions offered by the two accused, the judge said they were dramatically different, comparing them to the North and South Pole.

But what Smith makes of the defence's case will now only be known on Friday when she delivers the second half of her judgment.
