JOHANNESBURG - A notorious drug lord has been sentenced to 70 years behind bars in KwaZulu-Natal.
John Jekwu commonly known as 'JJ' was convicted on 15 counts of dealing in cocaine and ecstasy, two counts of racketeering one of money laundering.
The police's Vish Naidoo said, "This sentence is the first of its kind and we're hopeful that it would send out a message to future offenders of this nature."
