SACP stages Sandton protest against US foreign policy
The party says Barack Obama's administration must stop what they call his 'bullying tactics'.
JOHANNESBURG - South African Communist Party (SACP) members protested outside the US consulate in Sandton this afternoon against America's foreign policy.
They say Barack Obama's administration must stop what they call his 'bullying tactics'.
The group will hand over a memorandum demanding that the US no longer declare Venezuela a threat to national security.
The SACP has also slammed the US for its use of force in Venezuela and especially against civilians.
Spokesperson Lucien Tsekane said, "The US must end belligerence and counter revolution against Venezuela."
