CAPE TOWN - Uitsig has been hit by series of suspected gang shootings this past weekend and at least three people were caught in the crossfire.

A teenage boy was shot and wounded while walking home last night.

Community leader David Van Wyk says gangsters are holding the community hostage.

"The community is now in a state that they want to take the law into their own hands but also afraid of talking to the police of who the gangster is."
