Lion attack victim named as movie and series editor
Tourist Katherine Chappell was an editor on the popular 'Game of Thrones' series.
According to two Eyewitness News sources and international media reports, the woman's name is Katherine Chappell.
It's understood Chappell and a tour guide were travelling in a vehicle, allegedly with their windows down, when a lioness leaped through her widow and attacked her.

She is believed to have worked as a video editor for well-known series Game of Thrones.
It's understood Chappell was on holiday in South Africa when she was mauled to death by the lioness while taking pictures of the animal.
According to the Daily Mail and ABC the 29-year-old woman was a wildlife conservationist and was in the country to raise money for special projects.
Chappell, who is from the US and based in Canada, worked as full-time special effects editor and did work for popular movies such as Captain America, Divergence and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.
Chappell also won an Emmy with the team at Game of Thrones.
