Quinton de Kock signs for Titans

Chief executive of The Titans and the Easterns Franchise says the team is delighted to welcome De Kock.

CAPE TOWN - The Easterns Titans have announced the signing of South African opener and wicketkeeper Quinton de Kock as player for the 2015/2016 season.

Jacques Faul, chief executive of The Titans and the Easterns Franchise says the team is delighted to welcome De Kock.

"Quinton announced his selection of the Easterns Titans as franchise of choice. We are delighted to welcome an international star of his class and undoubted potential.

"We believe he is a match-winning player who can change the complexion of an innings with his repertoire of attacking strokes."

De Kock has represented South Africa in five tests, 44 One Day Internationals and twenty T20 Internationals.

Since making his test debut against Australia in Port Elizabeth in 2014, De Kock has also shown promising signs of maturity in this format and he has averaged 37.71 in white uniform.

De Kock also expressed his delight and said this opportunity will help grow his career.

"I'm excited about the prospects of joining the Easterns Titans while working meticulously at my skills in order to take my cricketing career to new heights. I hope I can contribute to their trophy-winning exploits."
