Dept concerned over attacks on ambulances
An emergency crew were responding to a call in Tafelsig when two men broke into their ambulance.
CAPE TOWN - The Western Cape Department of Health said it's very worried after an emergency vehicle came under attack in Mitchells Plain this week.
Last year, at least seven such incidents were reported in the area.

Health MEC Nomafrench Mbombo said it's unfathomable that criminals are targeting emergency workers who now have to risk their lives in doing their jobs.
She's appealed to communities to help police investigating this latest incident and other similar robberies and break-ins.
