JOHANNESBURG - A suspect has been arrested for the murder of Soweto mother Charlotte Ramohai, who was killed in front of her children in Braamfischerville last month.

She was three-months pregnant.

Two hijackers made off with Ramohai's car, which was later found abandoned.

Police offered a R100,000 reward for information on her murderers.

The police's Kay Makhubela says the suspect was arrested in Dobsonville earlier today.

"We have arrested a suspect in relation to the murder."

Police say the community of Dobsonville assisted in the arrest of a suspect in the Ramohai's murder.

At the same time, police say they're confident a man arrested in connection with the murder will lead them to his alleged accomplice.

Makhubela said, "We believe the second suspect will be arrested soon and the investigation continues."

He will appear in the Roodepoort Magistrate Court on Thursday facing murder charges.
