Bok captain celebrates International Nurses Day as a ‘nurse’

CAPE TOWN - Springbok captain Jean de Villiers has taken on some nursing duties at Groote Schuur Hospital to celebrate the caregivers.
To commemorate International Nurses Day today, de Villiers is shadowing two nursing sisters at the iconic Cape Town hospital.
De Villiers scrubbed in early this morning to help with the feeding and nappy changes of the babies in the paediatric ward.
"We decided to spend some time with the nurses today and just experience what they do. We want to say thank you for the job they doing and the services they provide. And also get the reaction of the kids, they really do amazing job and they bring joy to so many kids," said de Villiers.
