Court sinks teeth into Zimbabwean ‘vampire killer'
A man reportedly confessed to killing 12 women and claims to have sucked the blood of his victims.
HARARE - A man whose been dubbed 'Zimbabwe's vampire killer' has appeared in court in the city of Masvingo.
It's being reported that the accused has confessed to killing 12 women.
The 26-year-old claims to have sucked the blood of his victims.
The _Chronicle _says Alois Nduna claims to have joined a satanic cult while working in Zambia.
This could have set the man on a killing spree in his native Zimbabwe if his claims are true.
The Chronicle says that Nduna told a court in Masvingo that he'd killed his last victim in the central town of Mashava.
He said he'd been told by his church that sucking blood would make him strong.
Police are investigating whether the man is also behind a string of murders in Masvingo and other areas.
