Ertugral on the verge of signing with Black Aces
Mushin Ertugral has not coached a club since he left Ajax to deal with his family business in Turkey.
CAPE TOWN - Muhsin Ertugral has told EWN Sport he could be the new coach of Mpumalanga Black Aces later today.
He was on Aces shortlists of coaches after Clive Barker's exit in March.
Ertugral has not coached a club since he left Ajax last year to deal with his family business in Turkey.
He explains how talks began.
"I came back to South Africa to have just a brief chat with Black Aces, with both chairmen. We had a brief chat before I left for Turkey couple of weeks ago and following Black Aces a little bit more concentration and now we're in negotiation period."
He says Aces are a well-rounded club on and off the field and this appealed to him and the club has got potential to grow big.
"I have spoken many times with the owners of the club and I think the club for my opinion has a potential to grow to another level."
Should the deal go through Etrugral will still be going to the U20 Soccer World Cup before making a return.
"There are certain points that we've to clarify but I find that it's a very interesting club, which have a lot of potential and obviously I still have to do my Fifa U20 World Cup. So I have to fly back to Istanbul and then next week to New Zealand for the U20 World Cup.
