CAPE TOWN - Hanover Park residents searching for a missing 6-year-old girl over the past four days have vowed to intensify efforts.

Sasha-Lee November went missing on Sunday.

She was last seen playing with friends near her home in Groenal Walk.

Community member Igshaan Nazier is leading the search.

"What we're looking for at the moment, we don't really want to go there but we are looking at this stage. We hope that we find her alive still. The 48 hours are over and anything could have happened by now. The race is on to find her. That's all."

At the same time, some Hanover Park residents searching for a missing child say hope is slowly fading that they will find her alive.

Family, friends and community members have been searching frantically since Sunday.

They have been handing out pamphlets containing her information, hoping someone might have seen her.
