Military nabs Boko Haram food & food supplier

NIGERIA - Boko Haram may have suffered another huge loss as the Nigerian troops on Sunday arrested a man who supplies fuel and food to terrorists in the vicinity of Baga in Borno State.
The successes recorded following the offensive by the Nigerian troops in the last two weeks against the Boko Haram terrorists has seen the military rescue abducted women and girls and the latest being the arrest of a suspect involved in their supply chain.
Spokesman for the military, Major-General Chris Olukolade confirmed the arrest of the supplier of food and fuel to the terrorist and said military intelligence had been trailing him until he was eventually trapped in the early hours of Sunday.
He did not give further details on the suspect's identity but said the suspect is presently undergoing interrogation.
President Goodluck Jonathan had promised not to leave any territory of Nigeria in the hands of terrorist by the time he will be handing over power to President Muhammadu Buhari on 29 May.
