Body of missing teacher Jayde Panayiotou found
Officials believe they have found the body of Jayde Panayiotou who went missing on Tuesday morning.
JOHANNESBURG - Officials believe they may have found the body of missing Uitenhag teacher Jayde Panayiotou, the Herald Live is reporting on Wednesday.
The 28-year-old woman disappeared from outside her complex, Stellen Glen‚ in Deacon Road at around 6:30 on Tuesday morning, shortly before a colleague and close friend was due to pick her up.
Eastern Cape police spokesperson Sandra Janse van Rensburg said, "This morning at about 10 o'clock, the crew of the SAPS [South African Police Service] helicopter participated in the search when they noticed an object in an isolated area near KwaNobuhle township in Uitenhage."

It is believed two men abducted her and withdrew money from her bank account.

A massive search was launched online and on the ground overnight and into the morning, which included the police's flying squad and K9 unit.

Panayiotou was a teacher at Riebeek College Girls' High School in Uitenhage, near Port Elizabeth.
