Jeppestown shooting: Suspect hands himself over
Two people were shot dead yesterday amid xenophobic attacks on foreign nationals in the area.
JOHANNESBURG - Police say a man linked to the killing of two people in Jeppestown has handed himself over.
Yesterday, the suspect stormed into a flat where both men were staying and allegedly accused them of stealing from him.

The police's Lungelo Dlamini says, "He took once outside, shot him and then went back to the flat and shot the other. He will be charged with murder and taken to court on Monday."
Police have meanwhile squashed speculation that the killings are linked to incidents of xenophobic violence which have engulfed Jeppestown over the past few days.
