JOHANNESBURG -The Bulls have moved to the top of the South African Super Rugby conference after a 17-10 win over the Sharks in Durban.
Four penalties from the boot of Handré Pollard set up the victory, which sees them lying in second place on the combined log.
The win, their sixth out of nine encounters, has them just five points behind log leaders, the Hurricanes.
The Reds snuck past the Cheetahs 18-17 in Bloemfontein after flyhalf Joe Pietersen missed a last minute penalty for the hosts.
The result has Naka Drotské's men in twelfth place on the combined log, and bottom of the SA conference.
The Stormers wrapped up a successful tour with another win on the road, this time beating the Western Force 13-6 in Perth. They're now two points behind the Bulls.
The Lions enjoyed a bye after nine straight weeks of competition. They return to action next weekend when they host the Cheetahs.
The Stormers take on the Bulls at Newlands in what should be the game of the weekend while the Sharks will look to make the most of their upcoming bye.
