‘Game of Thrones’ season 5: The wait is over
Fans flocked to cinemas to watch the first episode of the fifth season at the same time it aired in the US.
JOHANNESBURG - The long-awaited first episode of popular television series Game of Thrones Season 5 premiered in South Africa at 3am on Monday.
Some lucky fans flocked to cinemas to watch the first episode at the same time it aired in the US.
Mnet hosted events at Hyde Park in Johannesburg, the Pavillion in Durban, as well as Canal Walk in Cape Town, which allowed fans to catch the highly anticipated first episode on the big screen.
Global fans took to Twitter to express their delight for the return of the series.
