JOHANNESBURG - American singer-songwriter Pharrell Williams on Thursday announced he would be collaborating with high-end retailer Woolworths in September this year.

Exact details are still sketchy at this stage but this isn't the first famous face Woolworths aligned itself with recently.

Victoria's Secret models Joan Smalls and Candice Swanepoel provided the retailer with a glamorous edge with their respective campaigns.

Smalls, from Puerto Rico, has modelled for fashion houses including Gucci, Chanel, Fendi, Givenchy and Roberto Cavalli while South African-born Swanepoel has lent her famous features to Nike, Diesel, Guess, Tommy Hilfiger, Tom Ford and Ralph Lauren.
