Fenerbahce football team attacked
Turkish football team Fenerbahce's team bus was attacked on a bridge with multiple shots fired at the driver.
JOHANNESBURG - Turkish football team Fenerbahce's team bus was shot at by armed gang last night.
They beat Çaykur Rizespor 5-1 in the Super Lig and were on their way to catch a flight back to Istanbul.
The bus was then attacked on a bridge with multiple shots fired at the driver.
The club has confirmed the driver was in a coma but is in a stable condition following the incident.

Fortunately they have managed to stop the bus or else they'd have driven off a cliff and 40 of our team members would have been dead by now!

Fenerbahce are the defending champions and have won the major domestic competition 19 times, with former Premier League players Dirk Kuyt, Raul Meireles and Emre in their side.
The Istanbul-based team went top of the table with their victory on Saturday, one point ahead of bitter rivals Galatasaray.
