Crusaders steamroll Cheetahs

CAPE TOWN - The Crusaders recorded an empathic win over the Cheetahs in Christchurch on Saturday morning.

The home team ran in seven tries to bag a 57-14 win over the Free State side.

The match didn't start of well for the Crusaders as Kieron Fonotia getting a yellow card after a dangerous tackle involving Willie le Roux.

Despite being a man down the Crusaders got the first try thanks to Jordon Taufua in the 19th minute.

The Cheetahs hit back 10 minutes later with an intercept from Francois Venter as the Crusaders had 14-10 lead at half time.

The flood gates then opened with play resumed for the second period as the Crusaders scored 5 tries in 20 minutes. Dan Carter making no mistakes with the boot helping his team to the empathic win.

Things don't get any easier for the Cheetahs as they face the Chiefs next weekend.
