JOHANNESBURG - It's being reported that 30 people have been killed in a train derailment in the north of India.
Rescuers say 50 others were injured in Friday morning's accident.
The Associated Press (AP) is reporting that three coaches of the train jumped the tracks and gas cutters had to be used to rip apart the mangled wreckage.
Officials warned that the death toll may rise amid fears that several more people may still be trapped in the wreckage.
