Flabba’s alleged killer to appear in court
The 26-year-old woman has been charged with the murder of the Skwatta Kamp rapper.
JOHANNESBURG - A woman accused of murdering Skwatta Kamp rapper, Nkululeko 'Flabba' Habedi, is expected to make her first court appearance this morning, just a day after she allegedly stabbed the musician to death at his Alexandra home.
Habedi was declared dead on the scene by emergency services during the early hours of yesterday morning.
Friends and family of the slain rapper are due to arrive at the Alexandra Magistrates Court this morning where the woman will appear.
It's understood he had an argument with his girlfriend, which led to him being stabbed in the heart.
Habedi's cousin has described to Eyewitness News some of the scenes that unfolded immediately after the murder.
"I went into his bedroom. It is your place of solace, your place of peace, and your place where you rest. How can it be a place where you breathe your last? at this point in your career, at this point in your life?"
The 26-year-old woman has been charged with murder and the musician's death has left South Africa's music industry reeling in shock.

Habedi's family and friends have asked for privacy to mourn his death while a probe into the crime continues.
Members of Habedi's crew, Skwatta Kamp, have confirmed there had been an argument between the rapper and his girlfriend before they left a Sandton nightclub on Sunday night, while his relatives say the row continued at home.
Skwatta Kamp member Lebogang 'Shugasmakx' Mothibe has called on the public to respect the police investigation.
"Of course none of us will ever know the details, because none of us were there. From here onwards we will let the law take its course."
Meanwhile, the hip hop industry continues to react with shock to the 38-year-old's death.
He was killed after releasing three new songs and filming a music video at the same house where he was killed.
