KZN police investigate Zuma car crash
Three of President Jacob Zuma's children were involved in a car accident in Pietermaritzburg.
JOHANNESBURG - KwaZulu-Natal police have confirmed they are investigating a case of reckless and negligent driving following a car crash involving three of President Jacob Zuma's children in Pietermaritzburg.
The Zuma siblings and their cousin are in hospital following the accident which happened on Friday.
The cause of the accident is still unclear.
The police's Thulani Zwane said, "The case is still under investigation."
Meanwhile, the presidency has remained tight-lipped about the condition of the president's children who are recovering in hospital.
Last year, one of the president's son's, Duduzane Zuma, was involved in a car crash in Sandton.
Zuma's car rear-ended a mini bus taxi and one person was killed while three others were injured.
