‘The dress’ back for SA anti-abuse campaign
The Salvation Army used black and blue or white and gold dress to bring attention to domestic abuse.
JOHANNESBURG - The South African branch of the Salvation Army on Friday used the black and blue or white and gold dress to bring attention to domestic abuse.
The advert, published on Twitter this afternoon, reads, "Why is it so hard to see black and blue?"
The image is of a woman in a gold and white dress covered in black and blue bruises, reverting attention to issues that really matter.
Gender-based violence is a major issue and the Salvation Army brilliantly brought this back into social consciousness.
