Traffic authorities report 10 fatalities over the weekend

Two passengers and a motorist were also killed in separate accidents in Tokai and Riviersonderend.

CAPE TOWN - Western Cape Traffic authorities say pedestrian fatalities remain one of their biggest concerns.

Ten people including two children have died on the province's roads since the start of the weekend.

Two passengers and a motorist were also killed in separate accidents in Tokai and Riviersonderend.

Provincial Traffic Chief Kenny Africa says, "We also had a hit and run incident in Caledon where a motorvehicle collided with three pedestrians, two 10-year-old children and a 21-year-old woman were killed in the accident which brings total fatalities this weekend to 10 so far."
