CAPE TOWN - Police have launched a manhunt for four armed men involved in a robbery at Somerset Mall in the Western Cape.

Yesterday, the men entered Time Watch Specialists, threatened staff and stole an undisclosed amount of watches.

The police's Thembinkosi Kinana said, "No one was injured and no arrests have been made. The police are investigating a case of robbery."

The Cape Chamber of Commerce and Industry last month expressed concern over a recent spate of armed robberies at jewellery stores in the Western Cape.

Jewellery shops in Hout Bay, Somerset West, Franschhoek, Camps Bay and at Blue Route Mall have been targeted over the past few months.
