JOHANNESBURG - Former South Africa captain Clive Rice (65), will travel to India this weekend to seek treatment at a Bangalore Hospital for a brain tumour.
His wife confirmed to EWN Sport that he collapsed on Saturday while getting ready to play golf and was treated by paramedics.
His family says he's "fine" and is going about his daily activities.
The scans found that Rice's tumour is too deep down in his brain for a neurosurgeon to conduct invasive surgery to remove it.
He played three One Day Internationals against India in 1991 for South Africa following the country's return from sporting seclusion.
