Kraaifontein murders: Mother wants justice
The mother of two Kraaifontein men who were killed hopes her son's alleged killers are denied bail.
CAPE TOWN - The mother of two Kraaifontien men who were killed execution style hopes her son's alleged killers are denied bail.
She says she hasn't been okay since the death of her son as the memory keeps coming back.
The 17 accused appeared in the Blue Downs Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
The accused are being held at Pollsmoor Prison since their last court appearance on 23 December.
The victims, between 18 and 36, were found with their hands and feet bound late last year.
The mother says her heart is broken and the accused don't deserve to leave prison.
"I want them to be kept in prison."
They were so badly beaten their mother could barely recognise them for identification purposes.
The motive for the killings remains unclear.
Eight suspects were arrested just days after the bodies of six men were discovered in an open field in Joostenbergvlakte about two months ago.
