Primary school teacher arrested for drug possession
Arrests were made after the crime prevention unit received a tip-off about a possible drug deal.
JOHANNESBURG - Ekurhuleni Metro Police have confirmed six people, including a primary school teacher, have been arrested for allegedly being in possession of drugs.
The arrests were made yesterday by the metro's Crime Prevention Unit after receiving a tip-off about a possible drug deal.
Authorities waited for the group, who made the deal from their vehicles, and caught the alleged educator red-handed with the drugs.
The EMPD's Kobeli Mokheseng, "The Metro Police members pounced on and arrested the three men at the two Nigerian's residents in Queen Street. Three additional suspects were arrested when police uncovered more drugs that were hidden in the kitchen cupboards."
