CAPE TOWN - Dozens of Bredasdorp community members are on Friday expected to march through the streets of the Overberg town in the wake of the murder of five-year-old Kayde Williams.

The group is expected to make their way to the bushes where Williams's body was found on Monday, exactly two years to the day 17-year-old Anene Booysen was raped and left for the dead.

Locals will then proceed to the Thusong centre where a memorandum of concern will be handed over to municipal officials.

Residents want authorities to ensure a crime like this does not happen again.

Williams went missing while walking to her grandmother's home on Sunday.

The girl's mother, father and grandmother are expected to lead the march.

They'll be joined by dozens of residents, community leaders, and members of the local community policing forum and neighborhood watch.

Some residents say they still can't understand how a child went missing in broad daylight and want the person responsible to be caught.
