Mango to cut ticket prices as petrol price drops
Mango travellers can expect a substantial decrease in airfares on all routes.
CAPE TOWN - One of South Africa's leading low cost carriers, Mango, says travellers can expect a substantial decrease in airfares on all routes.
The price drop, which is being rolled out with immediate effect, comes as consumers see a reduction in fuel prices.
Mango Spokesperson Hein Kaizer says, "To give you an idea: between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth from about R395. It is coming down substantially. I would say probably between 10 and 25 percent in savings."
The latest fuel price cut comes onto effect from midnight tonight when the price of all grades of petrol will drop by 93 cents a litre.
The price of diesel will decrease by R1,02 a litre and illumination paraffin by R1,36 a litre.
