Limpopo mother, son denied bail for stoning death
The two allegedly stoned the woman's husband to death.
JOHANNESBURG - A 50-year-old Limpopo mother and her son have been denied bail after they allegedly stoned the woman's husband to death.
The two appeared in a Mecklenburg court on Wednesday on charges of murder.
Police say the man had an argument with his son and when his wife intervened, he attacked them.
The pair then allegedly turned on him.
The police's Ronel Otto says, "The case was remanded to 2 February for further investigation. They did not receive bail so they will remain in custody until their next court appearance."
