Suspected arson attack in Observatory
Two buildings were apparently damaged with a petrol bomb.
CAPE TOWN - Two buildings have been damaged following a suspected arson attack in Observatory.
It's believed a petrol bomb was used.
Fire and Rescue Services' Theo Layne says emergency officials arrived on the scene early this morning.
"At about 4am we responded to St Michaels Park in the Observatory area where we had two buildings that had burnt. One was used as a manufacturing complex and the other one as office space."
No injuries were reported.
