First round of Afcon wraps up

JOHANNESBURG - The first round of group stages at African Cup of Nations (Afcon) 2015 are done.
There were no winners from last night's Group D action that included Cote d'Ivoire and Guinea as well as Mali against Cameroon.
Cote d'Ivoire and Guinea kicked off their campaign with their 1-1 draw in the capital of Equatorial Guinea, Malabo.
Seydou Doumbia and Mohamed Yattara were on target for either side respectively while Gervinho received a red card for violent conduct.
In the evening's other match, Mali took on Cameroon on what was a fairly open game with end to end action.
Sambou Yatabare and Ambroise Oyongo pulled off some incredible strikes to ensure their sides shared the spoils at one a piece.
Today, Equatorial Guinea will face Burkina Faso at 6pm while Gabon play Congo at 9pm.
