JOHANNESBURG - Arts and Culture Department spokesman Sandile Memela says the killing of his son and daughter-in-law was senseless and he's challenged the killers to come forward.

Last Friday, newlyweds Wamukelwe Zuma-Memela and his wife Wendy Campbell were found dead in their Bryanston home by a relative who lives on the property.

Memela says he cannot bear to think about the pain his son and daughter-in-law went through before they died.

"They did not deserve to die the way they did; strangled to death. And when we went to identify them at the mortuary, you could see the pain & agony on their faces."

Police have not made any arrests.

The couple had only been married for just over a month and leave behind a three-year-old son.
