EASTERN CAPE - A five-year-old girl has been airlifted to hospital in a critical condition after a collision between an SUV and a light motor vehicle on the golden highway this morning.

Six others including an 11-year-old boy were injured.
ER24 spokesperson Chitra Bodasing says the exact cause of the crash is still unknown.
"Four people from the SUV sustained minor injuries including the eleven year old boy. The two occupants of the light motor vehicle sustained light to moderate injuries."
