JOHANNESBURG - Two people who allegedly ran over a woman and then stabbed her in the face in Strandfontein are still on the run.
The Lotus River woman was knocked down by a white Daihatsu Charade while walking to work on Monday.
The Strandfontein Community Policing Forum says two witnesses have come forward and are expected to give a statement to police today.
CPF Chairperson Sandy Schuter says, "We've made an appeal on our Facebook page. We've also made an appeal on the radio the same night for people to come forward, and yesterday residents contacted me to give a statement."
