Golden Globes to start awards season

LOS ANGELES - The first ceremony of awards season kicks off this weekend with the Golden Globes in Los Angeles on Sunday.

After earning high praise last year, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will once again host the ceremony, which hands out awards in TV and film chosen by the Hollywood Foreign Press.

George Clooney will receive the Cecil B. DeMille Award, the movie Birdman leads the nominations with seven while Imitation Game and _Boyhood _have five.

On the TV front, Fargo leads with seven, with True Detective and _Orange Is The New Black _up for big honours too.
