'Nothing sinister behind WC Cabinet reshuffle'
Theuns Botha will be replaced by Nomafrench Mbombo as Provincial Health MEC.
CAPE TOWN - The Western Cape government has denied there is anything sinister behind its recent Cabinet reshuffle.
After five years in his post, Theuns Botha will be replaced by Nomafrench Mbombo as Provincial Health MEC while Botha has been shifted to the Cultural Affairs and Sport Portfolio.
Provincial Health Department's spokesperson, Helene Rossouw says, "It has nothing to do with the composition of the party. Unfortunately he has a health problem so the move to the Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport, and he accepts that."
